Cancellations & Rescheduling

Should you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please do so 24 hours before your scheduled session to avoid being charged the session fee. Ability to reschedule a session is dependent on your therapist’s availability and is not guaranteed.


Between Session Contact

Therapists may text or speak on the phone regarding billing and scheduling outside of session time, however, your therapist will not generally be available for phone calls or texting in between sessions.

Telephone consultations between sessions beyond 10 minutes may be prorated and billed at your standard hourly rate for professional services.

When we are not available and you need to talk to someone, please call the 24-hour Crisis Line in New York City at (800) LIFENET or the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at (800) 273-TALK.


Emergencies

If you find yourself in an emergency in which you or someone else is at risk of being harmed or have already been harmed, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital emergency room immediately.
